A couple of cracking gigs over the August Bank Holiday weekend, at the Sociable Beer Co and the New Chequers, both in Worcester – two lovely crowds as well, thanks to all who came and saw us, and a special mention to a new young fan, complete with t-shirt – Callie!
BACK AFTER THREE LONG YEARS – OUR NEW LINEUP PLAYS FOUR SHOWS AT THE UPTON BLUES FESTIVAL 2022!
Welcome Chris and Ash (new drummer and singer respectively), getting their thing on in a big way at the UBF. Our sincere thanks to Sue Brassington, Paul Maddy Hickling and Geraint Witts for the gigs pics and videos, also to Rick Crompton for the wonderful flypast picture. Also to BBC Hereford & Worcester who interviewed our very own Ash! Also last but most definitely not least, a huge thank you and band hug for our friend Jon Bridger who kindly joined us for all four gigs, bringing his amazing guitar (and mandolin) skills to our band.
The UBF this year was blessed with the most amazing weather throughout, with large crowds enjoying the music, sunshine, plentiful liquid refreshments and all sorts of street food – this was a fantastic return to form for one of the UK’s most popular free festivals. Many thanks to all that came to support live music, we hope you had as much fun as we did!
The Upton Blues Festival 2019 – three days and nights that will live long in the memory – thank you all so much, it was bloomin’ amazing!
Thank you Black Crosse for a rockin’ good night Saturday. Great to see a packed pub from start to finish, with beer, joy and merriment! Good to see some new faces (and old ones too)! Great to see some friends we haven’t seen for a while too. Hope you enjoyed it. Special mention to Mr Duckworth Esq. Worcester’s No.1 Air-Guitarist, who was rockin’ out with our guitarist John.
